This vibrant Ait Bou Ichaouen carpet exhibits a wonderful painterly hand and feel. The motif structure includes abstracted vibrating lozenges floating across a field of brick and rod formations. Knotted in a palette of coral red, faded pink, orange, celadon green, dark brown, lavender and ivory. A drastic color shift occurs near the top of the piece, introducing cobalt blue, kelly green, and red. This rug is mesmerizing, a true one of a kind masterpiece. The 100% wool pile is in excellent condition . This truly is a collectors work of art.
