Rug Quality
A large portion of our rugs are unique, one-off vintage items and as such were woven for personal use. Wear and signs of usage may be expected. We believe that these imperfections add to the beauty, character and story of each individual piece!
All product images are taken in natural daylight to ensure the color portrayed on-screen is as true to life as possible. Items may change in appearance when placed in different or artificial lighting situations. If you would like to see an item in alternative lighting, please email us for images.
Caring for your Rug
In order to maintain the appearance of your rug, we recommend to vacuum regularly. In the case of a stain, it is best to try and remove it immediately by using warm water and soap, rubbing in circular motion. Wool is also self-cleaning—hang to dry, preferably outdoors to release any unwanted odor.
Professional cleaning should only be done offsite, avoid ‘in-house' services. Cleaner recommendations available upon request.
It is important to rotate your rug 180 degrees every 1-2 years to ensure an even wear.
Rugs may shed a bit of fluff, which are excess fibers that were not properly incorporated into the yarn during spinning. This is normal, and is not a sign that your rug is falling apart!
